As a professional services firm, Joe Funk Construction specializes in the delivery of comprehensive construction services from project conception well before groundbreaking to completion and ultimately warranty work. All of this is accomplished while staying focused on what is most important to you and the other project owners we serve.
The opportunity to develop long-lasting relationships with clients, architects, subcontractors, and vendors is as important to us as bringing construction excellence to your new or renovated facility. The feedback we receive and the many 20+ year relationships we enjoy are a testament to this.
Construction services are delivered by the Joe Funk Construction team using a variety of delivery methods—including Competitive Sealed Proposals (CSP), Construction Management at Risk (CMAR), Design Build (DB), Integrated Project Delivery (IPD), and the more traditional general contracting bid process. For many of our repeat clients in the private sector, a negotiated selection process is used where we are either selected for the project based on past performance or we are automatically placed on the short list.
Joe Funk Construction is committed to protecting the environment whether it is recycling waste on the construction site or in our company office. Where there is interest, we often introduce owners early on to possible energy and efficiency saving opportunities or natural materials to use as alternatives. With the assistance of external LEED consultants often combined with in-house LEED trained staff, our firm is fully equipped to guide you on incorporating sustainable practices into your project. Our LEED experience includes the Richland College Garland Campus facility certified as a LEED Gold building and the First Unitarian Church in Highland Park qualifying as a LEED Silver Certified structure.
As an added benefit on select projects, clients appreciate our firm’s in-house capabilities to self-perform often leading to cost and time savings. These areas include:
