Recognition in 2009
Completed in April 2009, the Richland College Garland Campus building is part of the overall redevelopment and revitalization of downtown Garland. The facility centralizes the majority of the workforce development efforts, provides another venue for staff to connect with students, and provides conference rooms and gallery space for college and community events.
Recognition in 2008
Joe Funk Construction is the recepient of Quoin’s 2008 Merit Award for Outstanding Construction Services for the Texas Woman’s University Redbud Theater. This public facility was built for TWU’s Drama Department. The Architect for this project was BottinoGrund.

Joe Funk Construction is the recepient of QUOIN’s 2006 Merit Award for Outstanding Construction Services for the Arthouse Luxury Condominiums. This private facility was built in the Uptown area of Dallas, Texas. The Architect was Morrison Seifert Murphy.
Recognition in 2005
Joe Funk Construction held the 1st Annual Specialty Contractors Awards Luncheon September 16, 2005 at QUOIN. The Specialty Contractors were honored and recognized for achievement and excellence in their specialized field. The awards were for the completion of N. Henderson Retail Center and Dallas Independent School District Package 47 for DMJM Management which included Franklin D. Roosevelt High School, JW Ray Learning Center, Barbara Manns and Health Special High School.
