At Joe Funk Construction, we recognize the vital role of specialty contractors, vendors and suppliers on the projects we build and the impact these construction partners have on our success in taking good care of clients. Throughout our firm’s history, we have demonstrated a strong respect for the trades with the fair and ethical treatment of all of our subcontractors including prompt payment practices, effective coordination and communication, and a strong commitment to teamwork.
JFC takes the opportunity on a regular basis to convene special thank you celebrations and recognition programs for the specialty contractors and vendors who work with us. These can take the form of hosting our own awards program often in conjunction with completing a multiple package bond program of school projects having adhered to a tight schedule or an informal barbecue/luncheon when projects kick off, hit milestones or finish.
We firmly believe all qualified companies including women-owned and minority firms and those designated as “historically underutilized businesses” (HUB) should have equal opportunities to compete and succeed. With this in mind, we are proud of our strong outreach program which has resulted in many positive and mutually beneficial working relationships. Over the years, our participation in various mentoring/protégé programs has helped to increase the success and expertise of numerous economically disadvantaged and minority/women-owned companies.
